Course Description: Digital imaging using raster image editing and/or image creation software: scanning, resolution, file formats, output devices, color systems, and image-acquisitions. Comments: HyFlex is a course design that combines face-to-face with online learning. The flexible course structure gives the option of attending either sessions in the classroom, participating online or doing both. Students have the option to change their mode of attendance weekly or by topic, according to need or preference. Students can access online material at home but the IDT lab room B267 will also be open to assist. Digital Imaging course will familiarize users with the editing capabilities of Adobe Photoshop software. Students learn how to use the software interface and access its expansive set of features. Lessons cover the basics of saving and storing image files and defining the various processes used for image editing. Adobe Photoshop enables individuals to create and design digital images and illustrations for Web and print publication. |
